As I promised in the last show here is the picture of the rocks which are supposedly the latest and greatest design which is the international terminal at Wellington airport!Now I can understand its good to be new and improved but then there has to be some limits right?  But this is what we have so I suppose the people who makes decisions on designs like this will most likely go ahead with the Wellywood thing wither we like it or not.  But the best thing is that this helps get Wellington on the map and people talking about us right?

Their first album “Defying the Inevitable” just blew us away and we had the privlidge to play “You Prevail” and “It runs in the blood” Now there is a new EP about to be released called “a Nation Distracted”

This is a full on display of gritty riffs to sensual tones and is a ride you do not want to miss.

As soon as the EP starts you can tell you are going on an adventure especially when you hear Angelina DelCarmen (vocals) softly caress you into a feeling of safety to then thrust you into a grinding rythem of Richard Mollo (bass) and Adonis Sanchez (drums) with the signiture cruch that can only be Pablo LaFrossia (guitar) and his left handed craziness.

Now they have expanded further and have become a 5 piece with Chris Fullam joining the ranks on guitar which you can tell has given a different sound and feel on “A.N.D.” compared to “Defy”, you have to sign up for the preorder now or else you will be disappointed to get this late.

Charetta have matured so much musically from the last album and we cannot wait to see what is coming next and what direction they will take us on because getting a great album like “Defy” to then be able to follow it up with something so strong like “A.N.D.” is rare to see with bands these days.  There is no way in hell that you can call them a one hit wonder.
